Can't Update CA Anti-Virus

I have been trying to install updates of CA Anti-Virus since yesterday but i am not able to update it. I cannot download and install the updates manually as links for downloading latest signature are broken at CA's website. Is there anyone who can help??

I am using CA Security Suite 2007 and i never had any issue with it. I think there might be something wrong with your registry setting because of which you are not able to install any update. Just try uninstalling and reinstalling CA Anti-Virus in your case and check out if you are able to install update after that.

I think that your system has got affected by a worm called Conficker. It is a known worm which when enters a system stops its antivirus from installing any update. In order to get rid of it you can use this removal program, you just have to download it and run it in affected system. If you face any issue further than feel free to ask, if you get any error while updating CA Anti-Virus than make a note of it and post it here for further help
