1.) Make sure you have Admin rights.

2.) Right click on "My Computer Icon on Desktop and select "Properties from
the drop down menu.

3.) Click the Environmental Variables button at the bottom of the window.

4.) Now make sure that your "Temp" and "TMP" file locations point to a file
location that actually exists on your computer.

Currently NOD 32 is trying to save files to a location that doesn't
actually exist on your computer.

They probably point to C:\WINDOWS\Temp - If so just create a folder named
"Temp" (without quotes) in your Windows folder, or wherever their locations
are supposed to be at... Done. Or you could change the location to point to
wherever you do keep your TEMP Folder, mine is on D:\TEMP

Then create one or both folders.
The first one should be \documents and setttings\<account name>\local
settings\temp. Every account should have its own temporary folder.

i've created a folder just like you said, and when i went to update the Antivirus it gave me a message says that the program is up to date and no update is necessary, but when i want to do a scan for the computer it gives me another message says that the program is out of date and it's strongly need to be updated.
so does that mean that there's something wrong with the Antivirus too? do i need to reinstall it?

There is a Nod32 users' forum that would be a better source for information
regarding your question. It is at the following link;

http://www.wilderssecurity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=15

There are two forum entries for you to research or post your question. The
first one in the list is for the most recent version of Nod32, which is
Version 3.X, and the other is the third entry in the list for prior version
2.X. Both of these are for the AV product "only" and not the complete
security suite.

Your post states you are using just the AV product, so the above should
help.
