Error updating NOD32 Virus Definition

NOD32 installation looks to be working fine, but when I run a fresh antivirus update I am getting a error message on my screen. The message says that there some error while updating the program modules. What does that means. Also there is one more error that reflects the temp and tmp variable. I had re-installed the antivirus and the same thing appeared back again. How should I get rid of the same.

Do you have number of different accounts in your system. Try to run the setup in Admin account and when you are running first update. It looks the antivirus lack rights to replace certain folder and you cannot do much in that. For the variable stuff you can try one step. Right click on My Computer > Properties > Advance and go ton Environment Variable. Here just check that temp and tmp variable are having right file location point and that must exist in your system. You can create one if you want.

Do one thing. Go on C:\Windows and just check that TEMP or TMP folder exist. If not simply create one and then try back. I think either Nod has no permission to access or modify those. It is right that you must do the updates in admin account. That is much better and will avoid errors. Ensure that there is no other antivirus or security application installed that would cause conflict and compatibility errors.
