| Strange Google error: "your query looks similar to automated requestsfrom a computer virus"
When I do a google search (www.google.ca) on this: Windows Live hotmail (no quotes around that phrase) I get this: ------------------- We're sorry... .... but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now. We'll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon. In the meantime, if you suspect that your computer or network has been infected, you might want to run a virus checker or spyware remover to make sure that your systems are free of viruses and other spurious software. We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we'll see you again on Google. -------------------- That was with firefox. I performed the same search using IE6, and it worked fine. I opened another instance of Firefox and tried again, and it worked sometimes, and other timed I get that message. PS: when I first got that message, I had a little "TM" symbol after the "Live". But even after removing it, I still got the message. |

I usually just clear the cookies and the problem goes away. > PS: when I first got that message, I had a little "TM" symbol after > the "Live". But even after removing it, I still got the message. I've never observed this symbol.
