Avast vs AVG vs NOD32?

I want to know which one among AVAST, AVG and NOD32 is best. There are three antivirus. I have choice to upgrade one, but I am confused. I had used already AVG for year and it is fine. It is light and does not consume much system resources. If we take the point of internet surfing, email and chatting under confederation which among above is the best one.

I found Nod32 as a bit resource intensive and I will not recommend the same. So there are two antivirus which remains. They are AVAST and AVG. If you had used AVG for long time then you can continue with that as it will be easier for you to use it. The interface will be common, all you need to do is to upgrade to a licensed version that offers you more protection.
