Trend ChipAwayVirus(R) On Guard ?

I have come across something called "Trend ChipAwayVirus(R) On Guard" in boot up screen after Bios details. I never saw it before, it came up suddenly, By its name it seems to be a virus. Is there anyone here who is aware of Trend ChipAwayVirus(R) and can suggest e possible workaround for getting rid of it???

As far as i am aware it comes built into BIOS with some systems. It is kind of alert that comes up when anything tries to write to boot sector. If you want then you can enable/disable from BIOS setup facility, best of luck.

Even i need some help regarding Trend chipAwayVirus, i get a message saying " Trend chipAwayVirus(R) on Guard" upon turning the system. It says press F1 to continue and delete for entering the setup. I have entered setup but i dont find any option for disabling Trend chipAwayVirus(R) here. Are you quite sure that there is an option for disabling it in bios??
