postcard exe

Hello I received an e-mail that stated that I received an E-card from
hallmark. I opened it and clicked on click here and I got a pop-up window
that said postcard exe. I realized immediately it was a virus and closed
it. I did not execute it. Even though I did not open it and caused no harm
to my computer That I know of is the exe on my computer and if so how do I
find it. Any help appreciated.

Thanks
Michelle

If postcard.exe didn't run then you are probably OK.
You could run a search for 'postcard.exe' and delete it if you want to.
How you search depends on your Windows version, XP or Vista.
You will need to enable searching of system folders etc.

If you are using a Mac or Linux, I have no idea.

I never execute a executable.

Upload the file to Total Virus and see what it says.

Hi Thank you both for your help. I deleted the file and ran my virus
scanner and nothing showed up.
