Avast Pro 4.8, NOD32 or Avira Antivir Pro?

Havn't tried Avira, but I have uninstalled NOD32 several times
replacing it with avast! for several friends. Just love avast!

I think Avast is a good AV but Avira is better. Look please:

I'm sorry but I am not expert and I don't know to appraise well the
tests.

So I use NOD32 for "real-time" antivirus and I have Avira Antivir Free
installed as a second opinion "on-demand" scanner.

Why two antivirus programs, do you download a lot of cracks, hacks
and porno?

No, I never have malware, but
- I am curious and I want to see how the two "best" programs behave, and
- I have some people advised to use either NOD32 or Avira and I want to
keep track of the updates for both.
- When I think I have a "false positives", I can do a re-check
- etc.

I get many virus every day because I get email from all the world.
Could you tell me how is possible to have and to use NOD32 or Avira
Antivir Pro in the same PC?

You don't !

It is contraindicated to have two or more fully installed anti virus applications
performing "On Access" scanning on any given platform.

I use NOD32 "real-time".
I use Avira Antivir (Personal) only "on-demand".
(for scan on request.)

After installation of Avira I change in services the Avira-guard (the
real-time protection) to start "on demand".
(I have to tell this from memory, as my WindowsXP PC is in repair.)
;-)

It is not wise to have two anti-virus programs running "real-time" at
the same time.

Avast pro 4.8 is freckin awsome!! Installed it for over 10 friends but bullguard is still better
