Antec Eco NEO 620w for GTX 750 TI

I want to buy a Gigabyte GTX 750 TI graphics card. Currently I am running AMD Athlon X2 6000+ processor with nothing overclocked in my system. I am also using the Antec Eco NEO 620W power supply in my computer. So, I was wondering if this PSU will be able to support the new GTX 750 TI video card with ease? If not then what other power supply choices do I have that will support the new graphics card that I am going to buy. Thanks for any information.

Re: Antec Eco NEO 620w for GTX 750 TI

I dont think that there is going to be any problems with the Antec ECO NEO 620w Power supply, it will run all your hardware components along with the new Gigabyte GTX 650TI graphics card pretty easily. There will be also plenty of power which will be spared. Usually the GTX 750TI requires only 20 amps on the 12v rail and a 40watt power supply. This Antec Neo 620W has 48 amps on the 12v rail, so you can judge for yourself it has more than enough power to run your computer easily.

Re: Antec Eco NEO 620w for GTX 750 TI

The Antec Eco Neo 620 watt power supply is made by Seasonic and this brand uses quality stuffs. The Geforce GTX 750 TI needs only 20A on the +12v rail, which is equal to a minimum power requirement of 400W psu, but made with quality hardware. But along with the video card, all other components in the computer like motherboard, processor, etc; also require power. So, the Antec 620W PSU that comes with 48A on the +12V rail will give more power to each components in your system without any issues.

How long have you used your Power Supply in your system? If it is really old then check to make sure that it is not running low. What I mean is, go to BIOS and then check in hardware monitor and notice anything is running below 3.3v or 12.0v. If these numbers are lower than this, then you will have to change your power supply as soon as possible because due to excessive usage the power supply is soon going to be dead or will not give enough power to all the components.
