Endpoint mapper error when joining a computer to domain

I am getting a constant endpoint mapper error on my setup. I am facing the problem when I am trying to join a domain. I had done this before also where things use to work fine. There was no issue at all. But now when I try to go with the process I am getting a error. I went into netsetup log and there I found long list of 0x1020 error. Is anyone having any idea why I am getting this problem.

Try to rename he machine and then join it again. I am sure it will work. There is some issue with connectivity due to which you getting that problem. I got this error before but when I changed the machine name it started working. There was no issue with the connectivity here.

It is correct. Renaming the machine and then working with connection will work fine. You can here also create a separate workstation and then check back. You will need to create that without syprep and then check back. There are different tools available that allow you modify the SID and then you can move ahead.
