Transfer computer and user accounts from one domain to another

Today morning we started migrating our older windows 2003 server to a brand new Windows 2008 server domain. As of now we are in middle of the process and stopped. As the schema of the existing domain is inconsistent and bit corrupt we are now planning to transfer computer and user accounts from the old to the new domain.

For the same I’m thinking to create a new domain and connect to existing domain and then transfer computer and user accounts from existing to new. But the problem is I have never done it before also don’t have any idea about the same. I can try it but don’t want to make any mistake here. Hence want you guys help.

Please let me know how can do that easily. Many thanks.

I have done this before successfully using LDIFDE and CSVDE

I think you should go with the same.

Hello MilesAway, the best you can use here is official tool from Microsoft named “Active Directory Migration Toolkit v3”. You can download the same from here https://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...displaylang=en. The main aspect of this tool is to help you out transferring AD objects from one domain to
    another, including Exchange objects.

Can I use ADMT to migrate from SBS 2003 Premium to Windows 2008 std (AD) and Exchange 2007?
