About "network provider accepted the given network path"

Hi,

i have a problem with 2 server HP 580 G4 (server1 , server2) and a fresh
isntallation of windows 2003 SP2 x64; i have install the O.S. with a HP CD
for configure the raid and all device on system.

Now if i try to open a ipc from server1 to server2 or viceversa not work and
this error appeared :

"network provider accepted the given network path"

Instead if i try to open ipc from my notebook it's work on both server!

In order i have try to :

-uninstall all HP utility but nothing!
- try to resolve nameserver<>ip address and ok
-type netshare command seems work :

C$ C:\ Default share
ADMIN$ C:\WINDOWS Remote Admin
D$ D:\ Default share
E$ E:\ Default share
IPC$ Remote IPC
The command completed successfully.

-force "Enable Netbios" on both network interface

But nothing!!!

Both server are standalone server.

If i try to opne ipc from server1 to server1 or server2 to server2 work!

It'possible a problem with a "workstation" service ?

Why the problem ocurred ? Can anybody help me ?

Thanks in advance.

RE: About "network provider accepted the given network path"

Hello,

Thank you for using newsgroup!

Could you tell me why you want to access remote ipc shared? My computer has
the same issue, but this has no effect for accessing other resources on
network. Based on my knowledge, IPC is use to communications and data
sharing between applications. For more about ipc information, please refer
to the following document:
Interprocess Communications

Hope this helps.
