| Fingerprint reader integration with AD?
Is it possible to replace default authentication mechanism for AD domain with biometric authentication (and this change to aply to all of the member computers)? -- Short-term desicion equals long-term disasters .... |

Is it possible? Yes. Not really any different from a smart card system if you have the hardware. If you're looking for a Microsoft solution, look at CLM. There are several non-Microsoft systems, e.g. Lenel Systems International's OnGuard ID Credential Centre. |

Is any fingerprint reader supported by the CLM - we use non Microsoft device ... its drivers replace standart logon screen (works with GINA) - so I don't expect to be 1:1 like smartcard readers ... |
