nltest error_no_logon_servers

Hello all,

I have a single Server 2003 R1 SP1 that is DC and DNS. I am trying to stand
up a new DC that is running Server 2003 R2 SP1. Did adprep /forestprep as
required.

After re-boot, ran addiag, dcdiag and nslookup with no errors. I receive the
following nltest results when run from dc2 command prompt.

nltest /server:dc2 /query
Flags: 0
Connection Status = 1311 0x51f ERROR_NO_LOGON_SERVERS

nltest /server:dc1 /query
Flags: 0
Connection Status = 0 0x0 NERR_SUCCESS

I have found no description or resolution to this error.

Obviously the boss is not impressed. Any help out there?

rob
