Netlogon paused

Hi

I have 2 DC 2003 SP1.

1 With all the roles and also GC, and second DC only GC.

I have 2 Problems:

1) the first server that has all the roles always starts with the Netlogon
service in pause mode.
2) When I try to move the roles to the second DC, in the operation master I
see only the first server not the second.

Any idea?

looks like you are experiencing USN rollbacks.....
have you restored the DC using an image or something alike?

When The DC controler starts there is an error in the event viewer:


Event Type: Error
Event Source: NTDS General
Event Category: Service Control
Event ID: 2103
Date: 05/04/2007
Time: 16:14:43
User: NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON
Computer: TERMSRVR
Description:
The Active Directory database has been restored using an unsupported
restoration procedure.

Active Directory will be unable to log on users while this condition
persists. As a result, the Net Logon service has paused.
