    RPC unavailable error 1722

    Hello,

I have at home a Win 2003 forest.

The first domain is Li350.local. It as a unique DC Li350_S01, Windows 2003 SP2. Li350_S01 is its own DNS apart from the Ens01.Li350.local zone which is delegated to Insp5102000s.

    There is a sub-domain Ens01.Li350.local. It as a unique DC Insp5102000s, Windows 2003 SP2. Insp5102000s is its own DNS.

In last november, due to an anti-virus bug, Insp5102000s lost a lot of system files.

I had to repair it using the Repair facility of the installation CD. I had then to uninstall and reinstall a lot of applications.

Now, apart from not able to replicate, Insp5102000s runs perfectly well. It has not replicated for weeks. Should it be considered as a dead DC now ?

I have searched many sites and forums for a way to fix this. Until now, nothing resulted.

I send as attached files complete reports of dcdiag and netdiag run on Insp5102000s.

Thanks a lot to those who might help.

    Regards,

    baumic

I see no relation between your answer and my question.

You can try to troubleshoot RPC Endpoint Mapper errors using the Windows Server 2003 Support Tools from the product CD. Check the method given over here and see if it helps you in anyways - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/839880
