    converting SID

I am having the SID S-1-5-21-3532701855-11000089296-3142260341-1105. I am looking to add the sID to the sIDHistory from a new user with ADS Edit. The tool will be only able to accept hex/oct/bin/dec values, like the following:

    001 005 000 000 000 000 000 005 021 000 000 000 088 197 034 138 241 179
    221 079 233 099 055 026 098 004 000 000

Can anyone tell me how to convert an SID string into one of the 4 formats? Also, will I be able to use ADSI Edit in a script? Thanks.

I dont think you can manipulate sIDHistory manually, that can be only be done via a special API call and has special rules associated with it.

You can try to add to already existing objects and it isnt a hack. You will just have to use DsAddSidHistory, I have one or 2 utilities that will do it that I have not shared yet.
