How to change Win Logon screen

I wish to change the default Windows Logon Screen (which says Welcome to
Windows and press Ctrl+Alt+Del to logon) with a customised one. I have done
up a .bmp file which I want to use in place of the default Logon screen. How
do I do it ? Can I do it through Group Policies as I have about 70 Win XP
boxes on a Windows 2003 domain.

I don't believe you can do this via GPO as you need to embed the file(s)
into the Winlogon EXE IIRC. There are some tools available to help you do
this. Normally people do this before creating an image and then any new PC
has this setup.

I'm not familar with any myself, as it's been ages since I've looked into
it. Google it. That's all I can do. Basically, you need a tool that will
modify the backdrop in winlogon. That should be enough for old Google...
