    How to remove sid history

How can I wipe out the SID History Attribute from Windows Server. I am having a admin access to a child domain that has Windows Server 2000. The ADSI here is moved and due to which I am getting a error on the screen. I am not able to understand the error also. I need some way to wipe out the SID so that the loaded attribute can be cleared. I think the system will also start working in that case.

That can be done through a script. It will be more helpful I think. It is having a detailed information on using the script for cleaning SID. I think you must try this out. There might be some tools, but that can be buggy and create more problem in your configuration.

You can find ample of scripts like that on Technet site. I think that is the best resource for dealing with server problems. You must go there first to look for easy options. There can be issue if the script does not work properly. I am giving you a KB article link which is having appropriate solution and it works fine. I had tested the same.
