NTDS Replication

I receive these warnings everynight. They seem to happen between 3 and 5AM.
I am receiving them on both DC's I have in the domain. I've found some info
pertaining to Veritas but no resolution. I've tried just an NTBACKUP of
SYSTEM STATE on both DC's but I'm still receiving these errors. Does anyone
have any input??

Thanks much!!!
Todd

Re: NTDS Replication

That's a new feature in SP1, I believe. If you haven't backed up the NCs in
a period of time, the DS tells you.

Check that the System State is being backed up. If it is, the version of
Backup Exec you have might not know about something that it needs to do. I
would look at getting Backup Exec patched up.

Re: NTDS Replication

So according to the blog post am I to assume I should just disregard the
these error messages?

Also per my original I've tried Veritas BackupExec the latest version and
Windows NTBACKUP to backup the systemstate. Neither does the trick in
resolving getting these messages.

Re: NTDS Replication

Yes. I'm doing backups on Win2k3 sp1 both a veritas and a ntbackup backup of
systemstate still produces the warning.
