Cant Connect To Remote Doamin Controler

My Os Is Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise
I have a Cloud Server (Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise)that I Pay Monthly For and I Need to setup active directory on it so my remote computers can login useing active directory but it seems i cant connect to the domain controler. Get The Following Anwser:

The following error occurred when DNS was queried for the service location (SRV) resource record used to locate a domain controller for domain remoteoffice.joescomputersupportinc.com:

The error was: "DNS name does not exist."
    (error code 0x0000232B RCODE_NAME_ERROR)

The query was for the SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.remoteoffice.joescomputersupportinc.com

Common causes of this error include the following:

    - The DNS SRV record is not registered in DNS.
    - One or more of the following zones do not include delegation to its child zone:

    remoteoffice.joescomputersupportinc.com
    joescomputersupportinc.com
    com
    . (the root zone)

And i tried connecting via VPN and Just Regular Connection.

Re: Cant Connect To Remote Doamin Controler

DNS name does not exist error happens due to DNS entries. When the DNS address specified on the machine is not having a refrence to the AD zone, or you have the server mixed with an ISP's DNS, or a router as the DNS address, you will get the same error as well. You need to confirm that the DNS entry on the NIC should only be the DNS servers that are hosting the AD zone name. Incase you have an internal DNS however it doesnt have a refrence to the DNS server hosting the AD zone, then you can create a refrence to it by using either a Conditional Fowarder or a Stub Zone.

As told earlier, this seems to be a DNS issue only. So, if you can provide more information, then it would be helpful. Are you using Active Directory installed on microsoft cloud service? Or do you talk about a rented server where AD is installed? Or whether the microsoft service connector is used to connect to an application in the Azure services Platform?
