    Group Policy for Task Scheduler

    I created different policy and have given allowed to everyone but the service for schedule task is not sarting. It will show that service is in starting mode but not started? Can anyone please help. Thanks.

    I guess that the default logon account for the Task Scheduler is local system and not for everyone and that is why this prevents the service to start properly.

    Thanks for responding, both the user exist in the security settings, if you want to check it then find it in the below information:

    Configure this file or folder then: Replace existing permissions on all
    subfolders and files with inheritable permissionsOwner

    Allow CREATOR OWNER Full Control This folder, subfolders and files
    Allow NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM Full Control This folder, subfolders and files
    Allow BUILTIN\Administrators Full Control This folder, subfolders and files
    Allow Everyone Full Control This folder, subfolders and files
    Allow BUILTIN\Users Full Control This folder, subfolders and files
    Allow inheritable permissions from the parent to propagate to this object
    and all child objects Disabled
    Auditing
    No auditing specified
    Registry
    MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Svchost
    Configure this key then: Replace existing permissions on all subkeys with
    inheritable permissionsOwner
    PermissionsType Name Permission Apply To
