Any way to view users passwords in server 2003 AD ?

Hi we are running a Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 Domain. There are several users connected to our domain whose passwords are saved on a locked spreadsheet with me as an administrator of this domain. Due to some reason I want to get their passwords in Event so that I can sign in to their computers at any time I want. So I wanted to know if there is any way I can view passwords in Server AD? If yes, please let me know how. Thank you.

I don’t think you can see those passwords in Event because they are stored in hash and hence they are not viewable. This is an obvious feature because nobody would like his password to be seen by anyone else. However, as an admin what you can do is you can kick out any user even though he is logged in as admin.

I think it’s possible to view users’ passwords using server 2003 DC. You simply have to install an especial snap-in on the DC. I do not know why most of the people here are not been more helpful with the issue; shame on you all for not been helpful.

Here are links that can help people know more about how to view user’s passwords on a DC.

I agree, I wouldn't want anyone to see my personal passwords. Why not set up work specific OUs and specify their passwords and not allow them to change them. Something could be set up monthly or when ever to change them up.

I still don't see a real reason for this though.
