| Active Directory Description Script
Good day! I am looking for some scripting help. I currently have a WinBatch Script that Populates the AD Description with the following: USER - Service Tag (ALL DELL MACHINES) -Login Date This has been working well with our XP Machines. But we are starting to roll out windows 7, and I am looking to maintain is feature. I have a .bat file that populates the local computer description with the Login Date and current user. But I would like to add the asset tag and populate the AD Description. I was wondering if anyone can help. thanks! |

| Re: Active Directory Description Script
You can find the script for your work. There is a little script that helps synchronously the description of computer objects in Active Directory and local computer description to hold. It reads in model (ideally as a computer startup script) from the description of the AD object and transmits it into the local computer description. I had attached a script that can help you to work on the same. |
