| DHCP Issues
Not sure if this is the proper group for this but here goes... Our DHCP server has been experiencing problems in the past few weeks and up until then has been rock solid. The server is also the AD & DNS. The DHCP will lose all of it's scopes and the so far I have just be restarting the server to fix the problem. I thought it might be coinciding with the nightly restarts of the server. There are no real tell tale errors in the event viewer. Anyone ever see this before? |

Hello tkutil, How many scopes do you have on the server? So no errors are listed in the event viewer of the server? Is enough space on the c-drive availabe? Wich OS version and PS patch level are you using? Hi Meinolf I have 15 scopes on a W2K3SP2 Standard Edition server. I currently only have 2GB available. I did not realize I was that short on disk space! Hi There is an old article that explains a similar problem The DHCP scope settings periodically disappear on a Windows Server 2003-based computer http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922835 The hotfix is at: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936009/ -- I hope that the information above helps you.
