You can use permissions on the GPO itself, however I normally don'd use permissions, rather I like to create an OU structure grouping security principles to link GPOs for those principles (such as user accounts). I assume you are not talking about the Default Domain Policy or the Default Domain Controller policies. You don't want to alter those policies, or it can cause major problems. -- Ace This posting is provided "AS-IS" with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights. Hello chinwan, You have to use permissions on the GPO or security filtering. Personal i like to have the OU structure built for my needs like described from Ace, so i don't have to play around also with that perissions. And if you still want to use GPO security filtering, here is an example: http://www.windowsnetworking.com/art...Filtering.html Andrei Ungureanu www.winadmin.ro www.itboard.ro "chinwan" <chinwan@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:64DBBC44-39C7-4AF9-AFC6-37C5D3F16D6D@microsoft.com... > How would I assign a group policy only to certain users in an OU? |

Hi Before start applying GPO settings to your users/computers, make sure that you understand what a GPO is and how it works... You don't want to start crashing users/computers by doing configurations that you don't understand. You may start here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/w...y/default.aspx -- I hope that the information above helps you. Have a Nice day.
