| Domain Controllers security policy
Dear All, I am facing a issue with my Domain Controller security policy. We have applied the Security settings - Account policies at the Default Domain Policy and configured the Local policies like audit policies at the Default Domain Controller Policy. When I run rsop at the Domain Controller we cannot see any of the settings either account policies or local policies it is showing not configured. I am not sure if the policies are getting applied properly on Domain Controllers. Kindly suggest |

Hi Sukhwinder, Check for any reported events for Group Policy in Event Viewer's Application Log. If yes, please provide us with the related errors. You can also try creating a new Test Policy and configure some basic setting in it to check if that applying successfully. Its better to make the changes in a separate policy then modifying the Default Policies. Regards, Pledge Technologies |

Hello Sukhwinder, Even it s not shown in the rsop output the Password/Account policies are still used from the policy at domain level. If you run gpresult /v you should see the domain policy as applied under the "Applied Group Policy Objects".
