access denied when domain admin move organizational unit objects

I want to solve the access denied error when moving organizational unit objects from one OU to another, the active directory is windows 2003 forest with native mode and I am member of the domain admin group and all the permission are fine. Any ideas? Thanks

Can you tell us how are you moving the OU? Are you doing it from an another system running Vista or Windows 2008 with UAC in place by any chance? Did you check the Effective Permissions?

When the default Domain Administrator account is not able to move objects, then it appears that there is another problem going on that will be requiring further investigation. You will need to give us configuration information to help diagnose the problem. You will need to post the below to help you out:

1. We will need unedited ipconfig /all of your workstation and of the DC.
2. Event Log errors - EventID#s on the workstation and the DC.
3. Let us know how many DCs are in the infrastructure?
4. Are any of the DCs multihomed?
