Restart Server after site link configurations?

Do I need to restart the servers in the site after reconfiguring the site
links?

No, it'll pick the new configuration up as soon as the next KDC
calculation interval kicks in (~15 minutes).

But this did not happen. the KCC is reporting error about the naming context
being removed

Is this is direct relation to the site link change? Does replication
occur correctly? Are there other errors logged in the event log?
