    General access denied error

I am trying to update the AD user details in my application using a generic login. But the issue is that it fails for some user detail update saying "General Access denied error" at System.DirectoryServices.Interop.UnsafeNativeMethods.IAds.SetInfo()exception, even though the users permission level is same to other user. Is there anyone who can tell me anything to solve this problem? What kind of rights I need to give to my account to allow it to edit all the AD user? Thanks.

    Re: General access denied error

In our conditions, there are some "service accounts" to update the permissions of the account. They should not have administrator permissions Enterprise. These accounts are further blocked by: Cannot change password. The user can not access the devices. Those developers are given the credentials of the service account for the handling of AD. I hope this will help you solve your problem.
