    User slow login into domain

1 of the pc using WinXP SP2 slow login about 5 minutes. It show "applying your personnal setting". Already change the new pc and reformat but still the same. PC use dhcp to get ip address. Already change the network cable, NIC, and switch. Try to login the user account to other pc but also slow.

Why does only this user have problem with slow login into domain?

It can be a dns issue. You have to check that your using a single dns on the nic. Means the nds of your only. Do not use the isp dns. This can be reason behind slow login. Go in cmd and type ipconfig /all to find the dns that is rightnow configured on your network. Second thing the problem can be also due to roaming profile. Just check whether you are not using roaming profiles.

Just configure internal dns on your systems and then check back. If you are using a DHCP then just disable that. Provide the configuration details manually which will be much more helpful. You have to work on manual settings so that the client systems can properly connect to the network systems and work well.
