Migrating Child Domain with Exchange Server

Hi,

I would like some help and if anyone could help me I appreciate so the case
is that:
- I have an environment Windows Server 2003 with one child domain and that
child domain has Exchange Server 2003.
The child domain will split up from its root and I will use ADMT tool to do
that.
Then, I will configure a source domain and, using ADMT, I will migrate the
AD Child objects to new Domain. I will install an Exchange Server 2003 empty
in the destination Domain (new domain).
My question is, is there a way to move the mailboxes between the Exchange
Servers?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Migrating Child Domain with Exchange Server

Hello Luiz,

You can use Exchange migration wizard coming with exchange 2003 or exmerge,
a small tool to export the mailbox to a .pst file and import it into the
new exchange server.

See here about:

Re: Migrating Child Domain with Exchange Server

I do recommend the Exchange Migration Wizard.
The supported procedure is to move the user accounts with ADMT and the
mailboxes with EMW.
