    Ad GP and regional settings

As of now the date format on our Domain running on Windows Server 2003 is the default, i.e. MM/DD/YYYY which I need to change it to DD/MM/YYYY. I wanted to do it via GPO on all the client computers. Along with this I would also like the time zone as well as default language to be changed. So Is there any way or settings which can be used in GPO to carry out this task?

If yes, please let me know the same. Thank you very much.

YOu can get easily under the Group Policy Preferences. Did you check it? You just need to go to User Configuration > Preferences > Control Panel Settings > Regional Options.Once you do this just make sure to tap F5 key while editing the setting so that the underlining changes from red to green which means setting activated. Thats it.

Thank you very much for the help Lyla. As per your instructions when I reached to user configuration>administrative templates>control panel>regional and language options under group policy object editor, I can only see an option to

"Restrict selection of windows menus and dialogs language."

    Now what?

Yeah, You should not use that setting to roll out the language for users because that is only a policy to prohibit users to change the language in Regional Options.

Well the location you have mentioned above C Stern is actually the settings you can define with Group Policy Preferences. You will require to configure this with a Vista SP1 machine with RSAT installed or a Server 2008 box. Only those two Windows editions have the necessary GPMC version.
