Hide Attribute in AD

I have a question in regard to hiding an attribute from ADUC. I would like to
hide an attribute from the ADUC which is one of the canned attributes. How
can that be accomplished?

I looked intothat KB article and it looks like the attribute I am trying to
hide is a base 1 attribute so the confidental attribute is not applicable. If
I have the value in a base 1 attribute how can that be hidden from ADUC?
