Can you can place data of those users on a separate volume (shadow copy feature is enabled on per-volume basis)? Are your clients running Windows XP? If so, you can prevent installation of the Shadow Copy client software... hth Marcin "RayRogers" <RayRogers@news.postalias> wrote in message news:B95FDE0E-9043-47EB-823E-47C633491B35@microsoft.com... > hello, > I enabled the shadow copy on windows server, is there a way to restrict > and > select certain user to access previous version feature? > > Thanks in advance > |

| Re: Shadow Copy
We cannot put those data on separate volume. We just want to prevent some group of users from using "previous version" feature. Is there a way to do this via windows permission? Or un-install shadow copy client is the only option - These are windows XP? Do I un-inintall through add/remove program?
