IE 6 Temporary Internet Files -- IE Preferences Mode

We run a 2003 AD in 2003 functional mode with GPOs applying IE Preferences
mode and I'm running into a problem. The target workstations I am working
with are XP SP2 with IE6, fully patched.

I need to set the Temporary Internet Files to 300 MB but the Corporate
Settings option only allows me to set it to 32767 KB.

Has anyone run into this issue and found an alternative to requiring the
users to configure this setting?

Are you familiar with custom ADM templates? If so, see if the following
ADM template is what you need. It's taken from www.gruppenrichtlinien.de
(http://www.gruppenrichtlinien.de/adm/ie.txt - German GP portal) -- I
translated the comments:
