Roaming Profile trusted domain users

Hello everyone,
this is my problem.

Win2003 Active Directory.
I have to setup roaming profile for remote desktop users that are logging on
from a trusted domain. How can I do that? The goal is create a roaming
profile share in the trusting domain (domain A) and set a policy (don't know
where) to force the roaming profile just when I login in the domain A with a
domainB\useraccout.

Really many thanks,
Gio.

Are you asking how to share a common roaming profile between two different
user accounts from two different domains?

Re: Roaming Profile trusted domain users

Gio,
have you considered using Terminal Services Profile configuration for this
purpose (this would separate interactive user profile from the one used
during logons via Terminal Services)?

Re: Roaming Profile trusted domain users

Hi Marcin,
yes, but the problem is where setting this account property:
on the account "source" domain or by GPO in the "destination" domain?

the problem is enabling roaming profiles for users that are loggin on the
trusting domain from the trusted domain (only via remote desktop)

Really Thx..

RE: Roaming Profile trusted domain users - PROBLEM SOLVED

Put all the terminal services servers in a OU and applied a policy with the
roaming profile path. Set the policy scope to a security group with the
domain users of the trusted domain.

Hope that helps.

Seeya.

I didn't realize this was a terminal services profile issue.

However, I'm glad you found a solution!
