Just top of my head. I remember I went thru a post that there was a command
to display which domain controller the user currently logged onto.
I am sure it is not gpresult. Thank you for your help.

"set" in a command prompt will also display some more info's.

You can also find to type - systeminfo OR
Simply type set l - display the logon server
