When I was trying to find out the reason that the remote sites that we have are not picking up the changes in group policies, then I noticed that at our head office the NTFRS service was set to disabled. When checked the event logs, then it has been stopped for a couple of months, which means why no changes have reached the other sites. After starting the server back into the replication set, I had to "Enable Journal Wrap Automatic Restore" in the registry. The issue is, this server has a while lot of changes to group policies I have done over the last week, so will I lose those changes? Can anyone tell me a way to do this without losing the changes?
