List of Invalid characters for a username.

I am looking for list of characters that are not allowed to use in username under Active Directory. I am unable to find that. I am facing some issue with AD configuration. I had seen some users who are using different character in their name and I think that is not allowed in AD. There might be some other way of doing the same. Where I can I find the list of all characters that are not allowed to used under name in AD.

Characters like [ ] : ; | = + ? < > * " are not allowed I think. Also characters like , \ # + < > ; " = are prohibited from usage in the user name. The username and accounts is basically created by the network admin. It is necessary that you avoid adding any special character in it. Keep it plain text which gives you more benefit over using it.
